ROAD WARRIORS

The Kings skate into Bell Centre riding a season-opening 10 game road winning streak (10-0-0) after their three-goal third period comeback leading to their overtime victory in Columbus Tuesday night. In doing so, the 2023-24 Kings tied the NHL record for the longest road winning streak to start a season in NHL history (2006-07 Buffalo Sabres). A win tonight would set a new NHL record for the longest road winning streak to start a season.

COMEBACK KINGS

The Kings scored four unanswered goals Tuesday night in Columbus to stage their first three-goal, third period comeback victory in more than 16 years. Per NHL PR, the Kings became the first team in NHL history to extend an overall, home or road winning streak of nine or more games by staging a three-goal, third-period comeback. The next-closest clubs to stage a rally of that sort to extend a lengthy winning streak were the 2013-14 Flyers and 2011-12 Penguins. It was the eighth such victory in franchise history and first on the road in more than three decades:
