• Syracuse will have an interim coach in Nunzio Campanile, as the Orange will try to become bowl eligible for the second straight year. It would be the first time Syracuse has gone to a bowl game in back-to-back seasons since 2012 and 2013.

• The Tigers hold a 72-43-4 lead in the all-time series, including a 53-32-3 advantage in Columbia, S.C.
• In last year’s meeting, South Carolina snapped a Clemson seven-game winning streak in the series.
