• Toledo clinched the MAC West Division title with a 49-23 victory over Eastern Michigan at the Glass Bowl on Wednesday night. The Rockets extended its win streak to nine games, its longest winning streak in 40 years, and are now 6-0 in MAC play for the first time since 1997. Junior quarterback Dequan Finn completed 23-of-27 passes, setting a season high in yardage (407) and tying his season best in TD passes (3). He completed his first six passes and was 14-of-17 by halftime.

• The Bowling Green Falcons became bowl eligible for the second-straight season after defeating Kent State, 49-19, on the road on Wednesday night. Ta’ron Keith became the first player in program history with 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game as the running back posted 103 yards on the ground while tallying 130 receiving yards on a team-high eight receptions.

• Miami notched its second shutout in MAC play as the RedHawks posted a 19-0 win over Akron in Oxford. Miami has now shutout multiple opponents in the same season for the first time since 1998. Offensively, Rashad Amos led the way with 118 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

• Ohio came away with a 20-10 road victory at Buffalo. Keye Thompson led the Bobcats with 13 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, while fellow linebacker Bryce Houston added 12 defensive stops.

• Behind a big fourth quarter, Western Michigan claimed the Victory Cannon Trophy and the Michigan MAC Trophy on Tuesday with a 38-28 win over Central Michigan. The Broncos rattled off 17 unanswered points in the final quarter to secure the win. Hayden Wolff completed 25-of-36 passes for 333 yards and three touchdowns while Jalen Buckley rushed for 117 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns

• Ball State retained the Bronze Stalk Trophy thanks to a 36-yard field goal from Jackson Courville as time expired as the Cardinals defeated Northern Illinois, 20-17. Ball State won for the second time in three games and captured its first road win of the season.

MAC NOTES

• Miami RedHawks = Road Warriors With its 30-16 win at Ohio last Saturday, Miami is now 5-1 on the road this season, the best in the NCAA.
