Minnesota Wild Reduces Training Camp Roster to 27 Players

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reduced its training camp roster to 27 players.

Minnesota placed defensemen Matt Kiersted, Carson Lambos, and Roman Schmidt and forwards Caedan Bankier, Dylan Gambrell, Justin Kirkland, Tyler Pitlick, and Mason Shaw on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Wild also assigned defenseman Ben Dexheimer and Viking Gustafsson Nyberg and forwards Jagger Joshua, Hunter Haight, Riley Heidt, Rasmus Kumpulainen, and Rieger Lorenz to the Iowa Wild, and forward Kayden Lemire to the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
