WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will not have quarterback Zach Collaros in the lineup in Week 17.

According to a report from BlueBombers.com’s Ed Tait, head coach Mike O’Shea confirmed on Wednesday that Collaros will not play in this week’s game against Toronto. The report also indicated that Dru Brown will start instead.

Collaros was injured in Week 15’s Banjo Bowl against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Brown came into the game in relief, connecting on four of five passes for 46 yards.

Brown started in place of Collaros earlier in the season. He started against the Argos in Week 6, throwing for 339 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Bombers’ 30-21 win.

The Bombers host the Argonauts on Friday night at Princess Auto Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
