Casinos generated $108.86 million from table games and slots, a 3.0% increase compared with August 2025, though down 2.5% from July 2026. Through the first eight months of the year, table games and slot revenue is up 2.0% year‑over‑year, signaling consistent consumer activity despite seasonal fluctuations.
Individual casino results compared with August 2025 showed mixed movement:
- MGM Grand Detroit: up 2.3% to $52.90 million
- MotorCity Casino: up 8.3% to $33.77 million
- Hollywood Casino at Greektown: down 2.6% to $22.19 million
August market share remained stable, with MGM Grand Detroit at 48%, MotorCity at 31%, and Greektown at 21%.
