LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated right‑hander Landon Knack to the major‑league roster Thursday, sending fellow right‑hander Seth Halvorsen back to the minors one day after his successful club debut.
Knack, 29, returns for his second stint with Los Angeles this season. The right‑hander has appeared in two games, allowing five runs across five innings. Now in his third year with the Dodgers, Knack owns a 6–7 record and 4.33 ERA over 27 career appearances, including 19 starts. At Triple‑A Oklahoma City, he posted a 2–0 mark with a 2.60 ERA in five outings, four of them starts. The Dodgers selected Knack in the second round of the 2020 draft out of East Tennessee State.
Halvorsen, 26, delivered a scoreless 10th inning in his Dodgers debut Wednesday night, earning the win against Kansas City. Before joining Los Angeles, he logged 21 appearances for Colorado this season, going 0–1 with a 4.74 ERA. Across 76 career major‑league games with the Rockies (2024–26) and Dodgers (2026), Halvorsen is 4–4 with a 4.25 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 72 innings. Colorado drafted him in the seventh round in 2023 out of the University of Tennessee.
