FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have acquired English winger Jack Harrison from Leeds United FC and signed him as a Designated Player through the 2029–30 MLS season, the club announced Saturday. The move is pending receipt of Harrison’s P‑1 visa and international transfer certificate.
Harrison, 29, arrives in New England with more than a decade of top‑flight experience across England, Italy, and MLS, amassing 54 goals and 50 assists in over 375 professional appearances. A left‑footed winger known for his creativity and work rate, Harrison has been a regular presence in the English Premier League, logging 181 matches and 45 goal contributions with Leeds United and Everton.
During his five‑year spell at Leeds from 2018–23, Harrison became a central figure in the club’s rise, recording 219 total appearances and 66 goal involvements across all competitions. He played a key role in Leeds’ 2019–20 EFL Championship title and subsequent promotion, appearing in at least 35 matches in each of his five full seasons.
Following his tenure at Leeds, Harrison spent two seasons on loan with Everton, making 73 appearances across Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup competitions. Earlier this year, he joined Fiorentina on loan, where he featured 22 times, including six UEFA Conference League matches, contributing one goal and three assists.
“Jack Harrison fills an important need for the Revolution as we aim to bolster our attack,” said Revolution General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Chris Tierney. “Since breaking through in MLS, Jack has flourished on the game’s biggest stages in the Premier League and Serie A. We are confident his creativity and game intelligence will help him make an immediate impact.”
Harrison said the decision to return to MLS — and to Massachusetts — felt like the right fit.
“As I considered my options, the decision to return to MLS and join the Revolution was the one that was most aligned with me,” Harrison said. “I’m absolutely happy to come back to MLS and be back in Massachusetts, a city full of champions in all other sports. I’m hoping we can bring a title here to the city of champions.”
A native of Stoke‑on‑Trent, Harrison spent time in the Manchester United academy before moving to Massachusetts at age 14 to attend the Berkshire School. He played one collegiate season at Wake Forest before being selected first overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC, where he recorded 14 goals and 10 assists in 61 appearances, including four MLS Cup Playoff matches.
