SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Belmont Stakes Day generated more than $116 million in all‑sources wagering Saturday, as Golden Tempo captured the 158th running of the Grade 1, $2 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets.
The New York Racing Association said total handle for the 14‑race card reached $116,077,378, with 46,128 fans in paid attendance. On‑track wagering totaled $13.4 million.
The Belmont Stakes, run as Race 13, accounted for $50,876,383 in all‑sources handle.

The Belmont Stakes will return to its traditional home at Belmont Park in 2027, when the newly rebuilt facility opens on Sept. 18. The race has been held at Saratoga from 2024 through 2026 during construction.
