DraftKings Inc. has expanded its horse racing offering to Delaware, New Mexico and Rhode Island, bringing DraftKings Racing to 26 states nationwide. Customers in those states can now place pari‑mutuel wagers on horse races directly through the DraftKings Sportsbook app.

The rollout marks DraftKings’ shift from DK Horse — a standalone app powered through a white‑label partnership with Churchill Downs’ TwinSpires — to an integrated horse racing product embedded within its main sportsbook platform. The company said the new setup offers shared‑wallet functionality and unified promotions.

“With Triple Crown season approaching, we’re bringing DraftKings Racing to three new states at the perfect time,” said Johnny Avello, DraftKings’ director of race and sports operations. “By offering horse racing directly within the DraftKings Sportsbook app, we’re making it more convenient for customers to enjoy racing alongside their other favorite sports — all in one place.”

DraftKings said it will continue introducing DraftKings Racing on a state‑by‑state basis. DK Horse will remain active in states where it currently operates — including California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and others — until the integrated product is approved in each jurisdiction. The transition comes as the company prepares to launch its “DraftKings Sports & Casino” Super App, which will combine sportsbook, casino, lottery and predictions products.

Although DraftKings Racing is accessed through the sportsbook app, it is regulated separately from online sports betting, meaning availability varies by state.

The company said it remains committed to responsible gaming and highlighted tools such as My Stat Sheet, which tracks customer activity, and My Budget Builder, which helps users set spending limits.
