Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course leads all operators with $111.5 million in revenue, up 20.18% year over year
Pennsylvania’s gaming industry posted a strong start to 2026, with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reporting $590.6 million in total revenue from all gaming verticals and fantasy contests in January. The figure represents an 11.64% increase over January 2025, fueled largely by continued growth in online casino gaming.
Operators generated $249.9 million in total tax revenue for the month.

- Retail Slots: $189 million, up 0.67% year over year
- Retail Table Games: Nearly $76 million, up 2.8%
- iGaming: $249.3 million, up 18.62% from $210.2 million in January 2025
Sports Betting
Pennsylvania sportsbooks recorded a $782.4 million handle, down 10.39% from January 2025.
Despite the lower handle, taxable revenue surged 38.63% to $71.4 million, compared to $51.5 million a year earlier.
