Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has expanded its in‑play betting service to include Irish horse racing, with real‑time pricing now live across Entain’s Ladbrokes and Coral sportsbooks, William Hill, and BV Group’s five brands, including BetVictor.
The rollout is enabled through RMG and Sports Information Services’ (SIS) media rights agreement with Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and the Association of Irish Racecourses, covering all 26 Irish racecourses.
Building on the success of in‑running betting across RMG’s U.K. tracks—launched in January 2023—the service now leverages CourseTrack’s GPS technology to generate live prices during Irish races. Bettors gain access to a wider range of wagering opportunities as races unfold in real time.
HRI CEO Suzanne Eade said:
“The expansion of the in‑play betting service for Irish horse racing is very welcome news. We have already seen how the data offering for Irish racing has made great strides, with sectional timing available to all on the Racing TV website and continued expansion of data insights through RaceiQ. As sportsbook and pari-mutuel offerings for other sports continue to innovate, so must racing, and this is another positive step in that regard.”
Entain U.K. & Ireland Sportsbook Director Jamie Crossfield added:
“We are excited to be launching in‑play betting on Irish horse racing across our digital platforms. Reliability and accuracy are essential, and CourseTrack delivers exactly that. We are continually looking to innovate and expand our racing product, and RMG is a great partner to help us achieve that.”
RMG CEO Nick Mills noted:
“There has been a concerted effort to evolve and grow the sport of racing, not just from a viewing and broadcasting perspective but from a betting standpoint too. Our operator partners have played a hugely influential role in improving racing, and their trust in our solutions enables us to reinvest more back into the sport. Offering real‑time pricing on Irish meetings gives bettors new ways to engage with racing.”
CourseTrack Managing Director Chris Murtagh said:
“After two successful years tracking across all 26 Irish racecourses, we are delighted to continue evolving the data offering in Ireland. The new in‑play product will allow operators to take live bets throughout the race and up to the last furlong, creating new revenue streams for stakeholders across Irish racing.”
CourseTrack’s timing system generates GPS coordinates 20 times per second, producing detailed metrics such as leader speed, sectional times, and distance to finish. These data points support rapid, accurate in‑play pricing delivered by RMG’s pricing partner, Pythia Sports.
The same data powers RaceiQ, RMG’s analytics platform that provides bettors with advanced insights and supports handicapping.
CourseTrack will also deploy a new fleet of trackers featuring sub‑10cm accuracy using RTK technology, scheduled for rollout across all 26 Irish racecourses in March/April.
