The ETSU men’s basketball team plays its final regular season road game Sunday when the Buccaneers travel to Greenville, S.C. to take on Furman. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. inside Timmons Arena and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
ABOUT THE BUCS
· ETSU sits at 10-18 overall and 6-9 in league play
· The Bucs are coming off a heartbreaking 68-66 setback at Western Carolina on Wednesday night … The Bucs scored 18 of the final 26 points but couldn’t knock down a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer as the Catamounts held on for the win and series sweep
· After winning its first four SoCon road games, ETSU has dropped its last four
· With Jordan King (Albany, N.Y.) going 10-for-10 at the free throw line on Wednesday night, he now ranks second in the conference in free throw percentage (.840) … King is just one of five Buccaneers to shoot 100% at the free throw line with a minimum of 10 attempts since the start of the 2010-11 season and the first since Daivien Williamson did so exactly three years ago to the date at VMI … Williamson was 11-for-11
· To go with his 10 made free throws, King led all scorers with 23 points on Wednesday night, marking his 15th career game scoring at least 20 points
